In 2003, among the swarm of RTS games released post-Warcraft 3, there was a little known game named Against Rome.

Almost all information about this game has been lost, but in 2026, I discovered the game while looking for old RTS games to speedrun and fell in love.

It reminded me of some of my favorite RTS games as a kid, and I couldn't bear the thought of it languishing in obscurity without any community. Not only that, but it was created by JoWooD Entertainment, which if you can believe it also made the Gothic series, a huge favorite of mine.

Thus this fan-site was born. Aimed at preserving and keeping the game playable on modern systems, this game will live on!
